Simpson Strong-Tie STB2-372144SSR50 Installation Overview

1. Drill a hole in the base material using a carbide drill bit of the same diameter as the anchor.
2. Blow the hole clean using compressed air.
3. Assemble the anchor with nut and washer, ensuring the nut is flush with the anchor top.
4. Place the anchor in the fixture and drive it into the hole until tight.
5. Tighten to the required installation torque.

NOTE: Do not use an impact wrench to set or tighten the Strong-Bolt 2 anchor. Oversized holes in the base material will make it difficult to set the anchor and will reduce the anchor’s load capacity.
