The 40V max XGT Brushless 6-1/2 Circular Saw Kit (GSH05M1) provides cordless convenience while taking on high-demand applications. The Makita-built brushless motor delivers up to 5,200 RPM for high-speed cutting performance. The 6-1/2 Circular Saw can deliver up to 290 cuts per charge in 2×10 SPF lumber on a fully charged 40V max XGT 4.0Ah battery. The GSH05M1 features a 2-1/4″ cutting capacity at 90 and 1-5/8″ at 45, with a 0-50 bevel capacity with positive stops at 22.5, 45, and 50. The saw features electric brake for maximum productivity. It features a die-cast magnesium base, blade guard, and blade cover provide a lightweight design; weighs only 7.9 lbs. with 4.0Ah batteryConvenience features include a L.E.D. light with preglow and afterglow illuminates the work area, and a retractable extra wide tool hook that secures the tool when not in use. The GSH05 features a compact and ergonomic design at only 11-3/4″ long without battery. The saw is also equipped with Makita’s Extreme Protection Technology (XPT), is a series of integrated seals designed to improve a tools operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components.The GSH05 features the Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS), which uses Bluetooth technology for wireless power-on and power-off communication between the equipped tool and dust extractor. Once connected via AWS, the AWS-equipped dust extractor will automatically power on or off when the AWS-equipped cordless tool starts or stops, running only when the tool is in use.
