The Simpson CTS218 Compression and Tension Strap is designed to repair wood members such as top plates, studs, and trusses, handling both tension and compression loads.

Simpson CTS218 Installation Overview

1. Use all specified fasteners as per guidelines
2. Install one or two CTS straps on the same side for one-sided installations
3. For two-sided installations, place straps on opposite sides of the member
4. For three-part installations, install two parts on one side and one part on the opposite side
