1. Install nails with a powered nail tool, ensuring face protection.
2. Adjust nail tool pressure to avoid overdriving nails.
3. Install at least one 8d x 1 1/2″ or 10d x 1 1/2″ nail into each nailing grid.
4. Follow the MMLU Installation and Load Table for additional nails.
5. Ensure the MMLU height equals or exceeds 60% of the joist height for rotation resistance.
6. Install I-joist web stiffeners or floor truss end vertical webs when necessary.
