1. Use CNC equipment for cutting and drilling to maintain accuracy; if using hand tools, exercise extra care to ensure precision.
2. Ensure column ends are cut level to facilitate proper bearing between columns.
3. Position dowel and end mill holes on true centerlines of the glulam, maintaining a tolerance of 1/32″.
4. Use tight-fit dowels or bolts (not included) with specified strength criteria to complete the connection.
