Simpson Strong-Tie ABU44RZ Installation Overview

1. Place the standoff base and then the post in the ABU.
2. Fasten the post using nails or Strong-Drive SD Connector screws or bolts.
3. Adjust post placement and tighten the nut securely on the anchor bolt.

Simpson Strong-Tie ABU44RZ Specifications

NOTE: This connector is designed for Rough Cut lumber NOT nominal lumber (most common). This will only fit a post that measures an actual 4×4″. If you have a nominal post measuring 3-1/2×3-1/2″ you will need an ABU44Z Post base.
