Simpson Strong-Tie ETB230A-SCRB Installation Overview

1. Use all specified fasteners as per guidelines.
2. Rout a 3/8″ deep pocket into the side of the supporting beam for the lower plate.
3. Install the lower plate with 16d hot-dip galvanized nails (not included).
4. Attach the horseshoe plate to the supported beam end using the supplied SCRB screws at a downward angle.
5. Ensure all components are securely fastened and aligned.
