The Simpson Strong-Tie E-Z Mender is designed for easy repair of rotted or damaged 4×4 wood posts installed in concrete or dirt. It reinforces weakened wood posts without requiring replacement of the post or concrete.

3. Ensure post bases are not used for non-top-supported installations such as fences or unbraced structures
