Simpson Strong-Tie HDUE13-SDS3.5 Installation Overview

1. Set the correct size cast-in-place anchor bolt
2. Place the HDUE holdown over the anchor bolt
3. Install all Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector Screws perpendicular into the wood member
4. Install the remaining screws, including both perpendicular and angled screws, into all holes in the wood member
5. Place and orientate the crescent washer over the anchor bolt
6. Anchor bolt nut should be finger tight plus 1/3 to 1/2 turn with a hand wrench
