Simpson Strong-Tie HETA24 Installation Overview

1. Embed the anchor 4″ into a 6″ minimum concrete beam or 8″ nominal grouted block wall
2. Ensure proper alignment and use specified fasteners
3. For mislocated anchors, provide a shim designed by a Truss Engineer if the gap is between 1/8″ and 1 1/2″
4. Install new anchors if the gap exceeds 1 1/2″
5. Avoid installing fasteners where straps overlap in double embedded anchor installations
