Simpson Strong-Tie KBS1Z Installation Overview

1. Use all specified fasteners.
2. For angles other than 45, bend KBS1Z along slots to the desired angle (bend one time only).
3. Install (2) KBS1Z on each end of brace for equal-width members.
4. Install a single KBS1Z on each end of brace for 2x knee braces.
5. Install in pairs for beam-to-post connections.
