Simpson Strong-Tie STB2-504146SS Installation Overview

1. Drill a 1/2″ hole into the base material to the specified depth.
2. Insert the anchor into the hole and ensure proper alignment.
3. Tighten the anchor using a wrench to the specified torque of 65 ft. lbs.

NOTE: Do not use an impact wrench to set or tighten anchors. Oversized holes in the base material will make it difficult to set the anchor and will reduce the anchors load capacity.
