Simpson Strong-Tie ABW44RZ Installation Overview

1. Position the post base on the concrete surface where the post will be installed.
2. Align the slotted anchor hole for precise post placement.
3. Attach the base to the concrete using a 1/2-inch concrete anchor (not included).
4. Secure the post to the base using 10d common nails or #9 x 1-1/2 in. Strong-Drive SD screws.
5. Ensure the 1-inch standoff is maintained to prevent post-end rot.
