Simpson Drop-In expansion anchors are internally threaded anchors designed to be used in solid base materials. These anchors are made of 303 stainless steel for added corrosion resistance.

Simpson Strong-Tie DIA75SS Installation Overview

1. Drill a hole in the base material using the appropriate diameter carbide drill bit as specified.
2. Insert designated anchor into hole and tap with hammer until flush against surface.
3. Using the designated drop-in setting tool, drive expander plug toward the bottom of the anchor until shoulder of setting tool makes contact with the top of the anchor.
4. Ensure minimum thread engagement is equal to the nominal diameter of the threaded insert.
