The Strong-Bolt 2 Wedge Anchor is a zinc-plated, carbon steel anchor designed for static and seismic loading conditions, suitable for horizontal, vertical, and overhead applications.

Simpson Strong-Tie STB2-25214P1 Installation Overview

1. Drill a hole in the base material using a carbide drill bit of the same diameter as the anchor.
2. Blow the hole clean using compressed air or ensure it is deep enough to accommodate embedment depth and dust.
3. Assemble the anchor with nut and washer, place it in the fixture, and drive it into the hole.
4. Tighten the nut to the required installation torque.

NOTE: Do not use an impact wrench to set or tighten the Strong-Bolt 2 anchor. Oversized holes in the base material will make it difficult to set the anchor and will reduce the anchor’s load capacity.
