Simpson Strong-Bolt 2 anchors are non-bottom-bearing, ICC-ES code compliant anchors made to be installed in cracked or uncracked concrete. Strong-Bolt 2 Wedge anchors are qualified for both static and seismic loading and suitable for horizontal, vertical and overhead applications.

1. Drill a hole using a 5/8″ drill bit
2. Insert the anchor into the hole
3. Tighten the anchor using a torque wrench to 90 ft. lbs

NOTE: Do not use an impact wrench to set or tighten anchors. Oversized holes in the base material will make it difficult to set the anchor and will reduce the anchors load capacity.
