Simpson Strong-Tie ZN25100SS Description

Zinc Nailon anchors are low-cost, mushroom head anchors for applications under static loads. Easily installed by hitting a hammer on the head, driving the pin through the anchor to expand and hold it in place.

Simpson Strong-Tie ZN25100SS Installation Overview

1. Drill a hole in base material using a carbide drill bit the same diameter as the nominal diameter of the anchor to be installed.
2. Drill the hole to specified embedment depth, plus 1/4″ for pin extension, and blow hole clean using compressed air.
3. Position fixture and insert Nailon anchor.
4. Tap with hammer until flush with fixture, then drive pin until flush with top of head.

NOTE: Not for use in overhead applications. Nailon anchors are not recommended for eccentric tension (prying) loads as capacity will be greatly reduced in such applications.
