Simpson Strong-Tie THA222-2 Installation Overview

1. Use all specified fasteners as per guidelines.
2. For top flange installation, field-form straps over the header and install nails as specified.
3. For face mount installation, fill the lowest 4 face holes and drive nails at an angle into the header.
4. Alternate installation allows top flange configuration using face mount fasteners.
5. Ensure lowest face nails are filled to achieve uplift loads.
